Food was tasty and fresh ingredients. The amount of fish was a little on the modest side. Better order some additional sides with the meal if you're hungry.

Small Japanese shop with very fresh ingredients. Portion size is small to average but makes up for it in freshness and taste. Although the miso soup is complementary, it's well made (bot watery) and very hot, just the way it's suppose to be. For what you get, I think the price is reasonable.

Yummy sashimi with high quality, the price are more than reasonable. A restaurant with nice environment and a wide variety of choice, I’ll visit here again if I go to San Po Kong again for sure

Had a really good experience dining here. I ordered a salmon bowl and a variety of oysters. The salmon bowl was okay in my opinion. Fish was definitely fresh and well prepared, but i felt that the amount of fish was not enough. The oysters on the other hand were fantastic. There was a buy 5 get 1 free promotion. The oysters were huge and tasted super fresh and delicious. They were definitely the star of the meal! Would highly recommend anyone who’s looking for delicious seafood in the area. Also saw many people ordering the uni dishes. Hope i can come back to try those soon.

Oct 2025: This spot in San Po Kong is pretty impressive—no booking needed, and they still squeezed in our group of 10! With two floors and a cozy tatami room (need to reserve), it’s perfect for big groups. They offer everything from sushi, skewers, ramen, set meals to fresh oysters—truly something for every craving. Prices are reasonable for Hong Kong standards, the taste is decent, and the service really stands out. Definitely worth a visit when you want variety and space!

Hokkaido Oysters ($68): The staff recommended this Japanese Oyster from Hokkaido. Although it doesn't have the creamy texture, the meat is plump, tender, and easy to eat. No wonder they call this oyster - the "milk of the sea." Canadian Sea Urchin ($248): There are a total of ten pieces of sea urchin served with sushi rice, some seaweed, and cucumber. The Canadian sea urchin has a rich and fresh flavor. Grilled Eel Skewer ($28): It's surprising that a restaurant specializing in sashimi also serves delicious grilled eel skewers! The eel is grilled to perfection with a crispy and oily texture. Ambience: The restaurant is located in Wong Tai Sin, in the middle of the Choi Hung area, opposite to Ho Lap College. The seating area is spacious, and it's definitely worth a try if you happen to be in the area.
